WMBA social media platforms exist to promote the association, celebrate the accomplishments of our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and teams, and share basketball opportunities that benefit our membership.Â

To ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency, the following guidelines will be used when determining content shared on WMBA social media platforms:Â

WMBA Recognition

WMBA will recognize and celebrate achievements directly connected to the association, including:

Team and individual accomplishments while in WMBA

WMBA leagues, tournaments, and events

Championships, awards, and notable achievements earned while representing WMBA

Coach, volunteer, and official recognition

Association news, milestones and community initiatives

Basketball New Brunswick Recognition
​
WMBA will recognize athletes, coaches, and officials selected to represent Basketball New Brunswick (BNB) at the provincial, regional, national, or international level.

WMBA Alumni Recognition
​
WMBA is proud to celebrate former players who continue their basketball journey beyond our  program. WMBA may recognize alumni who:

Commit to or compete at the post-secondary (college or university) level

Volunteer or provide meaningful service within the basketball community as coaches, officials, mentors, organizers, or in other leadership roles

Attain other exceptional basketball milestones that the Board of Directors determines reflect significant achievement
Community Basketball Opportunities

WMBA may share information about basketball opportunities that may benefit our members, including:
